Yet the response of his people was pitifully unfavourable. They said to him: "You are one of those influenced by witchcraft and therefore bewitched".
Their reply was: "You are possessed!"

They said, "Surely you are only one of the utterly bewitched.
They answered, verily thou art distracted:
They said: "You are only one of those under a (magical) spell!
They said, `You are merely one of those (mortals) who are (dependent on being) given food.
They said, ‘Indeed you are one of the bewitched.
