He said: “They are my guests, so put me not to shame;

said: "Verily! these are my guests, so shame me not.
Lut said: "These are my guests: disgrace me not:
Lot pleaded, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not embarrass me.
He (LūT) said, "They are my guests; so do not put me to shame,
and he told them, ‘These are my guests, do not disgrace me.
He said, 'These are my guests; put me not to shame,
Said he, 'Verily, these are my guests, therefore disgrace me not;
Said Lot, "Verily, these are my guests, therefore disgrace me not;
He said, "Surely these are my guests; so do not put me to shame.
And he said unto them, verily these are my guests: Wherefore do not disgrace me by abusing them;
said: "Verily, these are my guests: And so do not shame me:
(Lot) said, `Surely, these are my guests, therefore do not put me to shame (by your disrespectful behaviour towards them).
He said, ‘These are indeed my guests. Do not bring dishonour on me.
