They said: “O our father: what ails thee, that thou trustest us not with Joseph when we are sincere counsellors to him?
They said, ‘Our father! What is wrong with you that you refuse to trust us with Yusuf when in truth we only wish him well?
They said: "Our father, why do you not trust us with Joseph, we are to him well wishers. "
They said, "O Our father! Why don't you trust us with Joseph when we are good friends to him?"
They said: “O our father: what ails thee, that thou trustest us not with Joseph when we are sincere counsellors to him?
They said: "Our father, why do you not trust us with Joseph? And we will be giving him advice."
They said, "Our father, why do you not trust us with Joseph, we are to him well wishers."
They said, "Our father, why do you not trust us with Joseph? We will take good care of him.
(Then going to their father) they said: "O father, why don't you trust us with Joseph? We are in fact his well-wishers.
They said, "O our father, why do you not entrust us with Joseph while indeed, we are to him sincere counselors?
they spoke : "O our father! Wherefore wilt thou not trust us with Joseph, seeing that we are indeed his well-wishers?
They said: O our father! Why wilt thou not trust us with Joseph, when lo! we are good friends to him?
After so deciding they said to their father: "Why is it that you do not trust us regarding Joseph although we are his true well-wishers?"
And so, they asked their father: "Our father, why do you not trust us for the care of Yusuf! Our first wish in life is for his happiness and welfare. "
They went to their father and said: "Why do you not trust us with Joseph? We do not wish nothing but the best for him. "
They said: "O our father! Why do you not trust us with Yûsuf (Joseph) though we are indeed his well-wishers?"
They said: "O our father! why dost thou not trust us with Joseph,- seeing we are indeed his sincere well-wishers?
They said, "O our father! Why do you not trust us with Joseph, although we truly wish him well?
They said (to Ya‘qūb), "Our father, why is it that you do not trust us about Yūsuf, while we are his well-wishers indeed.
They said to their father, ‘Why do you not trust us with Joseph? We wish him well.
They said, 'Father, what ails thee, that thou trustest us not with Joseph? Surely we are his sincere well-wishers.
Said they, 'O our father! what ails thee that thou wilt not trust us with Joseph while we are unto him sincere?
One from amongst them said, "Slay not Joseph, but, if you must act, throw him into the bottom of a pit; some caravan of travellers may pick him up. "
They said, "O our father, how is it with you, that you do not keep Yûsuf (Joseph) in our custody? And surely we are indeed his (honest) advisers.
They said unto Jacob, O father, why dost thou not intrust Joseph with us, since we are sincere well-wishers unto him?
They said: "O our father! Why don't you trust us with Yusuf (Joseph)— Seeing we are truly his sincere well wishers?
(On making this resolution) they (went to their father and) said, `Our father! why do you not trust us with regard to Joseph, while, as a matter of fact, we are his sincere well-wishers?
They said, ‘Father! Why is it that you do not trust us with Joseph? We are indeed his well-wishers.
